AIF files in one easy to download ZIP file.
An acid loop is an audio file that has meta
information containing details about the sound
such as key reference, beat count and wither
or not the file is meant to loop. You can
then load acid loops into Sony Acid and quickly
start working because the acid loop often
stretches to fit your song temo.

Silicon Beats originally
started life back in 2002 under the name of
"Breakbeats Only". Back then we
mainly offered what the title suggests - just
break beats. As the years passed our expanding
library of drum loops grew in size due to
the demands of our loyal customers.
We eventually made the decision
to re-brand using a more appropriate title
and thus "Silicon Beats" was born.
After more than a year of painstaking development
we finally launched "Silicon Beats"
in the hot summer of 2006. Silicon Beats now
offers the best of the "Breakbeats Only"
back catalog as well as lots of superb new
material.
We also decided to offer
our products in a more specific way as apposed
to offering a membership based product that
some users might not have time to make the
most of. By offering individual download packs
of drum loops categorized by genre we believe
that customers will be more likely to get
exactly what they want, and with a massive
selection of free demos drum loops available
for each download pack that we offer, we are
sure that the "try before you buy"
approach will be more to your liking.
